Pinzon country crafts dinnerware white
I absolutely love this set. I couldn't be happier. Each place setting comes separately so nothing was broken. The plates are beautiful. Rustic & elegant at the same time. I have a lot of italian ceramics and french country decor & these blend beautifully. You'll love them!

Pretty, sturdy, NOT MADE IN CHINA and a great deal
* I ordered 12 sets and they all arrived very well packaged without any breakage - I guess all that cardboard is really worth it. Of the 12 sets, I am returning one, only because of a very noticeably flaw in the finish on one of the bowls and some missing glaze around the joint handle on one of the cups. I had to round out the set for return and found one dinner plate with minute scratches and a salad plate with a tiny bump in the glaze.
I have been using the dinnerware for about 1 week and am very happy. The dinner plates are not huge but bigger that my existing so I had to make sure they fit in the cabinet, and they do. The design on the plates is subtle but makes them so much different and more unique than regular plain white plates, but still versatile with almost any decor or color scheme. Obviously, you need to nest the plates and bowls in a certain way due to the non-round aspect of the plates and the detail but they nest well. The cups do not nest to allow stacking.
Most of all, I am so happy that they were not made in China and are dishwasher, microwave, OVEN and FREEZER safe. I can't believe how many dinnerware sets on the market are not oven safe and 95% of the sets I looked at had that Made in China tag - not going there, not with all of the recent issues on Chinese made products with lead in them.
Last but not least, I was watching these for several months while trying to decide on the purchase and get the best price. When I bought them, they were an excellent price so I am very pleased with my purchase all the way around. ...

So far so beautiful
I bought the white set and they are an off white with a little bit of the brownish stonewear showing through (intentionally) along the edges, these dishes are absolutely stunning. The shape of the bowl alone would have had me buy this set. The one odd thing about them is the little ring indent in the center of the plate that is from the support ring underneath ( look closely at the picture of the plate alone and you can see it) it's not enough to put me off the dishes, they are just so pretty! I haven't unpacked the rest because the packing is just over the top and I haven't had the time to dispose of all the cardboard. (they definitely will not arrive broken) When I finally do, I'll let you know if the rest of the place settings are uniform and as beautiful.
UPDATE 5/8 - they don't fit in my cabinets. So my one cabinet door is open a wee bit. (1/2 an inch) They also chip on the edges if you knock one against the other, (as in washing or loading the dishwasher) very very easily. The chips aren't terribly noticable on the white dishes, but on the dark ones it must be very noticeable!...I have about 3 chipped dishes now and the sets are about 3 times what I paid for them, so I'm not replacing them at that price. I would still order them again. I also ordered the dark chargers and salad plates and stack them dark, light dark, light for a table setting - it's stunning! (so far no chips on the dark dishes)

Almost 100% Pleased
* I'm very happy with my new dishes, they're very beautiful. My only gripe is that 3 of the 4 sets, the mugs were a slightly darker shade than the rest of the dishes. I bought the cardamom, and 3 of the 4 mugs look like a shade of cocoa!! It's not VERY noticable, so I guess I will take the slight difference in exchange of the great price. Other than that, I think these are very elegant dishes. ...

Good Buy
I received the tableware and it came individually boxed for each place setting. No chance of breakage with this packing method. The settings are very, very nice. Actually, I was quite surprized as to quality. I am going to order a couple more setting in a defferent color to add contrast. The best yet, made in Portugal.
