Very high quality, you'll want to use these every day! Fine, raised detail, with hints of terra cotta showing through the white. We use them for breakfast, they are a generous size for salad, too!

Rating: - Not just for salads!
* They're called 'salad plates' but we've found we use them for everything! They can easily accommodate a dinner (chicken breast, side veggie, smashed potatoes) with room to spare.

The square design creates a very convenient holding position on the corner. I have arthritis and find these easy to handle even when they're fully loaded. I can fill the plate and pass it along to my son without fear of it tipping or spilling. It sounds minor but it's so embarrassing when I dump a whole dinner on the floor because of joint pain.

For the unbelievably low price ($5.68 when I ordered them), I was very impressed with the quality and versatility of these dishes. I'm sure you will be too. ...

Rating: - classic charm with modern appeal
I love this pattern! this pinzon stone ware gives the old world charm with fine details in the pattern, and the modern convince of dishwasher safe, oven and microwave friendly. the glaze is very versatile and looks great with my casafina. All of the pieces I have received were made in portgual, I wonder if this was contracted to casafina for production as it is the same weight, and the glaze matches beautifully. if any one knows please let me know. I am still on my quest of no "made in china" products.

Rating: - Wonderful Dishes - Wonderful Price
I had need of a twelve-piece service, and found the Pinzon Country Crafts Florentina White Chargers and Salad Plates (the latter are square) for quite a wonderful price. The dishes are microwave, dishwasher, oven, freezer safe. They come packaged extremely well. One Charger was broken (and I am not quite sure how that happened, as the packaging is phenomenal), and Amazon replaced in a matter of days.

The color scheme I chose, Florentina White, goes with a number of other colors as well as styles.

These dishes can be used for casual dining - family dinner during the week; as well as for formal dining - company dinner, Holidays, etc.

My favorite thing about these dishes are that they are very heavy, sturdy, solid dishes.

These square salad plates are just the right size for a side salad, bread, or dessert.

I highly recommend both this set, and any set made by Pinzon.
